Umbraco Day Three: Noob Hear This

On Day One I complained about having to drag out a "Paragraph" control every time I wanted a new paragraph. On Day Two I typed my entire blog entry into a single "Paragraph" control, trusting it would honor my line breaks. It didn't work. (Now fixed...) On Day Three I thought "Well, I guess I have to learn Markdown." But that wasn't it either. I was a bit befuddled. I did some searching, looked at documentation, and then went back and stared at it for a while, wondering.

Suddenly the veil was lifted.

It turns out, that if you scroll down another inch below the "Paragraph" control, there is a "Rich Text Editor", which, of course, honors line breaks.

So, now that I'm an Umbraco power user, indulge me as I reflect upon my career. Just kidding. There is always an "I feel like an idiot" stage of learning new technology, and I've got a long way to go before I reach the other side of it. But I hope that, by looking like an idiot publicly, one day this will help someone. After all, I didn't find my answer in the docs.
